About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Invitation to Bid (ITB) number DOT-ITB-5004-KSP, specifically focused on the purchase of a 6" Emergency Stormwater Skid Mount Pump for District Five's Kepler Operations Maintenance Facility. The document is dated 10/21/2025 and provides clarification on two key procurement details related to the pump acquisition.
The Q&A document specifies that only the Thompson Pump, Model 6JSCE-DCUS-2.8-MC will be accepted for this procurement, and confirms that a Perkins Model E2.8 engine can be used in place of the originally specified Cummins engine. Bidders are directed to reference Addendum 1 for additional details. No pricing information, total contract value, or specific funding sources are disclosed in this document, which appears to be a supplementary clarification to the original bid solicitation.
