The contractor must service and maintain four WRO300H Reverse Osmosis machines with carbon filter tanks and one CWP 100 water purification unit manufactured by EvoQua (formerly MAR COR) in compliance with original equipment manufacturer specifications, Joint Commission requirements, and Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards.

Monthly preventative maintenance requirements include changing pre-filters on the RO machines, conducting water testing for bacteria and endotoxins through a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory, performing RO sanitation, and completing comprehensive system performance reviews on the CWP unit that encompass inspection and recording of dialysis system readings, operation logs, feed water chemistry, blend valve performance, booster pump performance, softener data, carbon tank data, storage tank data, control panel data, and distribution pump data. Quarterly maintenance includes calibrating water quality monitors, conducting AAMI chemical water tests, replacing carbon block filters on RO machines, and cleaning membranes using low and high pH cleaners. Additional semi-annual and annual services include replacing pyrogen filters, bicarb vent filters, and performing complete media rebed/replacement on carbon filter tanks. The contractor must submit Field Service Reports within 72 hours of service completion, including contractor name, service personnel information, labor hours and rates, materials used, and a summary of work performed and accepted by the government representative. Water quality monitoring must be delivered within ten calendar days and include testing for hardness, pH, alkalinity, bacteria, endotoxin, conductivity, total organic carbon, total dissolved solids, and ionic contaminants. Emergency service availability is required 24/7, with routine calls requiring response within 48 hours and telephone response within 48 hours for initial emergency contact; service outside Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM will be charged on a time and materials basis.
