About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the removal of an aboveground storage tank (AST) at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, with an effective date of January 14, 2026. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment, tools, supervision, and administration necessary to design and execute the complete removal project. The primary scope includes removing and disposing of one 5,000-gallon AST, the associated concrete pad, and the fuel system connected to the tank. The contractor must cap off all connection points at pad level and coordinate disposal efforts with the 126th Air Refueling Wing and 375th Air Mobility Wing. All necessary federal, state, and local permits must be obtained by the contractor prior to work commencement.
The contractor should be aware that restrooms and power are not available in the immediate vicinity of the tank location, requiring advance planning for worker accommodation and equipment power needs. This removal project is being solicited under a Request for Information (RFI) pre-solicitation notice (Solicitation Number W50S7S26Q0004) issued by the Department of the Army National Guard for market research purposes, with responses directed to 126.arw.fal.msc.contracting@us.af.mil. The RFI is not a formal request for proposals, quotes, or bids, and no award will be made directly from responses submitted.
