About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a pump and motor replacement project for the 509th Maintenance Squadron (509 MXS) at Whiteman Air Force Base. The contractor will remove and replace a defective BURKS ED10M Regen Pump and BALDOR Motor EM2513T with equipment of equal or greater capabilities, enabling the aircraft wash dock operations. The work must be completed during regular working hours (0730-1600) on weekdays, excluding federal holidays, with the primary objective of restoring the pump system's functionality, including leak-free operation and soap solution circulation to four dock hoses.
Strict security protocols are outlined, requiring contractors to obtain base entry authorization by providing detailed personal information and meeting installation entry requirements. Contractors will be escorted and must wear appropriate identification badges. The project involves coordinating with 509 MXS personnel, ensuring a foreign object debris-free work area, and demonstrating the installed system's functionality before government acceptance. The PWS emphasizes non-personal services, with the government neither supervising nor controlling the contractor's work methods.
