About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for maintenance and service of Orthoscan Mini C-Arm Fluoroscopy units at Naval Medical Center Tri-Service (NMRTC) Sigonella. The PWS outlines the contractor's responsibilities for providing comprehensive preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency service support, and technical assistance for the Mini C-Arm equipment to ensure operational readiness and optimal performance at the medical facility. Key service requirements include scheduled maintenance visits, rapid response to equipment failures, spare parts provisioning, staff training on equipment operation and maintenance protocols, and documentation of all service activities. The contractor must maintain a trained technician team capable of diagnosing and repairing equipment issues on-site, with provisions for escalation to manufacturer support when necessary. The scope also encompasses equipment calibration, safety compliance verification, and coordination with facility medical personnel to minimize downtime and disruption to patient care operations.
Prospective vendors must be authorized service providers for Orthoscan Mini C-Arm equipment, as evidenced by documentation from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Responses must be submitted using the SF1449 form with pricing provided in Euros, along with a completed Cost Breakdown Per Year and Equipment attachment. The solicitation is issued by the Defense Health Agency for the Naval Medical Center at Sigonella, with an amendment executed prior to posting that corrected quantity and unit of issue specifications for CLIN 5001. Digital certification is required for all signatures, with printed/signed/scanned signatures accepted only if digital signing capability is unavailable.
