1.0 General:

1.1 Scope: The contractor shall provide all infrastructure (e.g. refrigeration capability prior to delivery), personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to provide menu enhancement items to the Unitized Group Ration (UGR) Ration type meal, as defined in this PWS.

1.1.1 Objectives: The Virginia Army National Guard (VaARNG) is looking to acquire menu enhancement items to the UGR Ration type meal, which will consist of menu enhancement items to support 50,066 Breakfast Meals and 50,066 Dinner meals to support Annual Training at Ft. 1.2 Background: Menu enhancement items are necessary to augment the contents of the UGR Ration type meal to ensure that the supported soldiers are receiving two hot meals with the proper nutritional values, that the UGR Ration type meal cannot support over a sustained length of time.

1.3. Period of Performance (PoP): The Period of Performance will be between 9 June 2025 and 24 June 2025. The delivery of the menu enhancement items will occur over multiple deliveries using the 2 day - 2 day - 3 day delivery schedule. There are a total of six separate requiring activities that will require menu enhancement items over the total period of performance.
