About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a maintenance contract for Advanced AIS Programmable Signal Processor Interface Test Adapter Sub-Assemblies (AAIS-PSP-ITASAs) at Hill Air Force Base. The requirement involves maintaining, servicing, repairing, and calibrating 23 Model 1670 units originally manufactured by Dynamics Corporation, which are critical test and repair components for F-16 programmable signal processors. The contract will run for one 12-month basic year with four 12-month option years, with work to be performed at Hill AFB by the 523rd Electronic Maintenance Squadron (EMXS) and 516th Software Engineering Squadron (SWES).

Key performance requirements include conducting preventative maintenance every 60 days, with specific inspection protocols for different unit groups, and providing on-call maintenance with a 24-hour response time. The contractor must submit monthly status reports, comply with environmental and safety regulations, and follow strict security protocols for base access. The contract emphasizes precise maintenance standards, including refrigerant and oil level checks, calibration procedures, and replacement part management. Environmental and safety considerations are extensive, with requirements for protecting workers from potential hazardous material exposures and implementing comprehensive safety programs.
