About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for equipment maintenance services related to flash x-ray systems and computed radiology systems. The document outlines the primary objective of providing comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal operational readiness and performance of specialized diagnostic imaging equipment operated by the Department of the Army Materiel Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The PWS establishes performance standards and service level requirements that the contractor must meet, including response times for maintenance calls, equipment availability targets, and quality assurance metrics to maintain system reliability and minimize downtime.
The contractor is responsible for executing routine preventive maintenance activities, conducting emergency repairs, providing spare parts management, maintaining detailed maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and federal safety regulations. The PWS defines technical performance metrics, documentation requirements, and reporting obligations to enable the government to monitor contractor performance and system availability. The statement of work establishes the scope of maintenance coverage for both flash x-ray and computed radiology equipment, with the expectation that the contractor possesses specialized technical expertise and access to manufacturer-authorized parts and support resources necessary to sustain these critical imaging systems in operational condition.
