About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a contract for installing CAC-enabled door lock solutions at Building 300, West Wing, Bay A and Bay B at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. The project requires engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing door lock systems for two specific areas: Bay A with double glass doors for the C-5 front office, and Bay B with 4 interior and 3 exterior doors. The standalone systems will support a minimum of 350 users, include local caching, emergency access for building managers, and operate without WiFi, Bluetooth, or wireless connections.
Key technical requirements include using CAT6A cabling, metal conduit for signal conductors, vandal-resistant equipment enclosures, and electrical power extensions compliant with National Electric Code standards. The contractor must provide a comprehensive installation design package within 30 days of contract award, conduct on-site surveys, perform contractor verification testing, and offer a 3-year warranty. Additional obligations include providing technical support, software updates, system administrator training, and maintaining strict base security protocols. The project requires careful coordination with base personnel, with work to be performed between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
