About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the advance procurement and storage of long lead time parts and fabrication of major subcomponents for overhauling the USS EMORY S. LAND (AS39) port and starboard 5-ton traveling cranes. The contract (Solicitation Number N3220525Q2307) is with the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command and involves procuring specific crane components from Trident, including parts like rope wire assemblies, pulleys, load indicators, hydraulic motors, fans, heat exchangers, and various assemblies for both port and starboard cranes.
Key contract details include a tentative contract award date of 30 April 2025, with all long lead time materials required to be at the contractor's facility between 15-31 December 2025. The contractor must store components in a climate-controlled facility, provide monthly status reports, and accommodate Military Sealift Command representative site visits. Quality assurance requirements are stringent, mandating detailed testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), and certification of all critical components, with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) serving as a third-party inspector. The total procurement covers comprehensive parts and subcomponents for two 5-ton traveling cranes, with specific technical requirements outlined in multiple referenced technical manuals and standards.
