About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) is for environmental testing of electronic assemblies, specifically for the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA). The document outlines comprehensive testing services required for electronic devices used in Department of Defense (DoD) programs, with a focus on design validation and qualification of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). The PWS requires a contractor to provide a wide range of testing capabilities, including vibration, physical shock, thermal, altitude, humidity, electromagnetic interference, and combined environment testing services.
The contractor must have internal capabilities to perform at least eight of the listed testing services and be able to provide detailed technical reports within five days of test completion. The testing is intended to validate electronic systems for DoD programs, simulating operational environments and ensuring device reliability. The contract includes provisions for government-furnished equipment and materials, with testing to be performed based on specifications provided by DMEA. The document is dated 15 April 2025 and is identified with the reference number DMEA 25-5E2, with the primary location for testing and coordination being 4234 54th Street in McClellan, California.
