About this file
This document is a contract opportunity for the Hocking Hills State Park Water Well Service. The service is required by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to address periodic flow loss issues with Well #2 at the Hocking Hills State Park Water Plant in Logan, Ohio. The scope of work includes mobilizing equipment, removing and reinstalling the pump and associated equipment, inspecting the well using video camera, cleaning the well, extending the casing if needed, grouting and disinfecting the well, and providing all required sampling and permitting. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the successful contractor will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement. The delivery location is the Hocking Hills State Park Water Plant, and the work must be completed within 30 days of the purchase order issuance. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a response, and the point of contact for the site visit is Eric Borchers of the Ohio DNR.
The contract will be awarded based on the low lot total, which is determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage and then adding all the totals together. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed non-responsive. The awarded supplier will be required to submit invoices directly to the Ohio Shared Services in the prescribed format, and the contract is valid only for goods and services received through June 30, 2024.
