309 Aircraft Maintenance Group

Purchase Specification

PURGE FLUID

1. The Contractor shall deliver 7,500 gallons +/- of Purge Fluid that shall conform to Mil-

Spec: MIL-PRF-38299E.

a. Part Number M38299 (Must be specific to Table 1 found in MIL-PRF-38299E pages 5-6).

2. No recycling required for this shipment.

3. Equipment required for off-loading Purge Fluid into 309 AMXG’s holding tank(s):

1. 2-inch cam-lock quick connect/disconnect pipefitting, compatible with the 309

AMXG holding tank(s) and system(s).

2. Minimum 20-feet of 3-inch approved fuel/purge fluid hosing with 3-inch Camlock fittings.

3. As an alternate, tanker shall have the ability to pump from tanker through its own pump into AMXG’s holding tanks in case the 309th AMXG holding tank’s pump is in-operable (INOP).

4. Driver must contact Government POC to provide Driver's License info to be sponsored on base through the Truck Gate the day before arrival to Hill AFB, Utah.

4. Acquisition Requirements:

a. Purge Fluid must be shipped in a semi-tanker trailer (no drums or small containers)

b. The following shall be provided:

i. Certificate of Conformance (COC)

ii. Bill of Lading

iii. Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

c. Delivery location(s) B286/287/680

Daylight Time.)

g. Entry point: I-15 at Exit 338 Roy, UT (HAFB Gate)

h. Driver shall have valid Driver License and ability to pass a security check.
