About this file
This document is a Purchase Description and related Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Torque Calibration System for the U.S. Army Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA). The solicitation (PANRSA25P0000014826) seeks one Torque Calibration System as a life-cycle replacement for an existing Lebow torque calibrator, to be delivered to Building 5435 at Redstone Arsenal. The system must have a maximum measurement capability of 50K lbf-in, utilize data acquisition software, provide automated servo-controlled hydraulic operation, include custom calibration adapters, and have a NIST traceable transfer standard torque cell.
The RFQ is structured as a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) procurement with no specific set-aside. Vendors must submit a comprehensive quote including unit pricing, delivery terms, company details, business size, socio-economic status, point of contact information, CAGE code, Unique Entity Identifier, and GSA Schedule number if applicable. The torque calibrator must meet specific technical requirements, including an uncertainty of 0.1% or better at 95% confidence level, and capability to perform calibrations in both clockwise (compression) and counterclockwise (tension) modes. On-site installation and personnel training are also required as part of the procurement.
