About this file

This document is a Purchase Description for Road Materials to be used at Pine Bluff Arsenal, detailing specifications for multiple types of construction materials. The specifications cover five key material types: Stone Backfill, Selected Material, Aggregate Base Course, Concrete, and Riprap, with precise requirements for each material including size, composition, delivery, and testing standards. All materials must conform to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, with measurement typically done by weight (ton) and certified weight tickets required.

The culvert purchase description provides additional detailed specifications for galvanized and plastic culverts, including technical requirements such as ASTM standards, pipe dimensions, material types, and connection methods. Galvanized culverts are specified as 16-gauge corrugated steel pipes, 20 feet long, while plastic culverts are high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with inside diameters ranging from 12-15 inches, intended for gravity flow and storm drainage applications. Both culvert types are to be delivered to Pine Bluff Arsenal, with specific technical parameters ensuring consistent quality and performance.
