About this file

This is a Purchase Description Questionnaire for the procurement of two Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Edition Premium vehicles in Sunset Red, along with two Ranger Turn Signals with Horn accessories (Part #2883870). The procurement is for the 802nd MXSS/MDSPM Metrology Calibration Flight of the 402d Maintenance Group (MXSG) at Robins Air Force Base, with a requirement date of 60 days after contract award. The contractor shall provide all materials, parts, travel, tools, training, and labor necessary for the purchase.

The justification for the brand-specific Polaris Ranger selection emphasizes mission-critical environmental standards for transporting sensitive test equipment, noting that the factory-installed Climate Control (AC/Heat) and enclosed cabin provide a stabilized environment protecting equipment from dust, moisture, and thermal shock. The document indicates that market research determined the Polaris solution provides best value compared to Club Car alternatives, which failed to meet integrated climate control and industrial-grade durability requirements. Funding has been specifically allocated for FY26, with emphasis on immediate execution to prevent fund expiration. The warranty is one year from ship date. Delivery is required to Robins AFB, Georgia (DoDAAC F3QCCM) with a loading dock available. No installation, training, network access, security clearance, or classified information handling is required. Primary point of contact is Jenna Singleton (478-327-6105; Jenna.singleton@us.af.mil) with alternate contact Brad Steverson (478-926-1465; thomas.steverson@us.af.mil).
