• Contaminants: The system must effectively remove aircraft paint and Chromium epoxy primer.

• Working Area: The system must have a working area with internal dimensions large enough to fully accommodate a component with dimensions up to Width ≥32" to accommodate two (2) wheel halves simultaneously; Length ≥ 16"; Depth ≥ 16" and a maximum weight of 150lbs.

• Automation Level: 100% automated operation is required, eliminating manual brushing, scraping, and wiping.

• System Features:

o Pre Wash Tank, UltraSonic Immersion Wash Tank, and Rinse Tank o Thermostat Temperature Controller reaching a minimum of 185°F o Lift to lower and remove parts from the tank o Lid covering the tanks o The system must be capable of effectively processing parts with weep holes and hollow sections. Fixturing is permissible, but tumbling is not allowed.

• Throughput: The system must be capable of processing 10-20 parts per week, operating on 1 shift, 5 days a week.

• Available Power: 480V, 3-phase, 125 Amp.

• Footprint: Size of the room is 10’ (Height) x 20’ (Width) x 10’ (Depth).

• Ventilation & Safety: The room where this will be installed already has a ventilation system installed.

Deliverables:

• One (1) complete Automated Heated Chemical Paint Removal System, meeting all specified requirements.

• Complete operating and maintenance manuals.

• Documentation confirming compatibility with MIL-PRF-83936C QPL chemicals.

• Detailed system schematics and wiring diagrams.
