About this file

This document is a Notice of Intended Decision to Enter into a Single Source Contract (PUR 7778) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The intended contract is for Activu software and hardware equipment for the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC). The new Activu video wall solution must be furnished, installed, configured, and tested by the vendor at the new and existing sites as well as all remote site locations. The solution must be scalable to allow for the addition of a minimum of twenty new remote site locations without the need to purchase additional hardware. Activu Corporation is the sole provider of the Activu system, which is necessary for seamless communication, planning, and execution at the RTMC for 24/7 operations.

The contract is for $245,000. Activu Corporation is the intended single source provider, as the Activu system is imperative for FDOT and partner agencies during emergency events, such as hurricane evacuations, to monitor the district and provide valuable information. The new video wall solution must accommodate the existing setting at the RTMC.
