About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to procure promotional advertising services for the "Fresh from Florida" brand through a grocery retailer marketing partnership. The Division of Marketing and Development seeks promotional advertising including authorized use of the "Fresh from Florida" logo in Whole Foods' circular advertisements, in-store signage featuring the logo on shelves and product displays, and digital promotion on Whole Foods' website and social media platforms. The contract term extends to June 30, 2027. The posting date was August 24, 2026, with a deadline for prospective vendors to submit information by September 15, 2026. No bidder's conference or site visit is indicated in the document.
The estimated contract amount is approximately $60,000 to $100,000. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source acquisition with WFM Purchasing, L.P. (Whole Foods), justified on the basis that Whole Foods is the only known vendor capable of planning, printing, and publishing weekly sale flyers with the "Fresh from Florida" logo; planning, printing, and distributing in-store signage to all store locations; and planning and publishing digital content on its platforms featuring the logo. The department is authorized to proceed under section 570, Florida Statutes, which permits promotion of agricultural products through various media channels. All promotional use of the "Fresh from Florida" logo must comply with department rules and be coordinated through authorized partners.
