About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). FDLE is seeking to modernize and upgrade its Enterprise Archive Solution (EAS) and Solr search index engine, which are proprietary software developed and owned by ZNZ Resources. The requested services include preventive maintenance, remedial maintenance, configuration management, system administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and programming, to be delivered via remote access. The estimated dollar amount for this one-year contract is $70,000.

FDLE has determined that ZNZ Resources is the only firm capable of providing the required end-to-end support for the EAS and Solr systems, as they control the source code. This single-source procurement is intended to serve FDLE's Leon County and Tallahassee City jurisdictions. The posting will remain active for at least 15 business days, during which prospective vendors may provide information regarding their ability to supply the requested commodities or services. If no viable alternatives are identified, FDLE plans to enter into a single-source purchase contract with ZNZ Resources.
