About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The agency is seeking to purchase one (1) Flir Ladybug 5+ 360 Videolog Camera to be used as part of a State Transportation Incentive Council (STIC) Grant. The camera will be integrated with FDOT's existing Laser Crack Measurement Systems (LCMS) Pavement Condition Survey (PCS) van to enhance data collection and video imagery for the state's annual and biannual pavement condition surveys. The intended source for this single source purchase is International Cybernetics Co., as they are the sole manufacturer and provider of the proprietary software, hardware, and support required for the existing LCMS system.

The estimated dollar amount for this purchase is $93,445.00. FDOT has determined that the Flir Ladybug 5+ 360 Videolog Camera is only available from International Cybernetics Co., as they are the sole vendor who can provide the necessary integration, repair, and software updates to maintain compatibility with FDOT's current data processing and analysis systems.
