About this file
This document is a Notice of Intended Decision to Enter into a Single Source Contract (PUR 7778) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families. The Department is procuring services from a Vendor to provide production and partnership development, marketing, and promotion of positive stories that highlight families helped by Department services statewide and locally in order to raise public awareness for existing prevention services. The selected Vendor will be required to leverage television airtime on major broadcast television stations, oversee all aspects of research, production, and delivery of the project expansion, and utilize social media technologies including ForeverFamily.org, Facebook, Twitter, and television station websites. The Department has identified Forever Family Inc. as the sole source for this contract, which has an estimated value of $250,000.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that Forever Family Inc. is the only Vendor that can provide the required television airtime, production oversight, and social media utilization. Forever Family is a nationally recognized media initiative with existing partnerships and airtime commitments from ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX affiliates throughout Florida, North Carolina, and other states, reaching over 50 million viewers annually through more than $75 million in earned media.
