About this file
This document is a Notice of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). The Department is procuring services from a vendor who can provide production, partnership development, marketing, and promotion of positive stories highlighting families helped by DCF services at the statewide and local level. The intent is to raise public awareness of existing prevention services. The required services include leveraging television airtime on major broadcast stations, overseeing research, production and delivery, and utilizing social media channels. The single source vendor identified is Forever Family Inc., which has an exclusive network of television affiliates throughout Florida and North Carolina. The contract term is 1 year following award, with an estimated value of $250,000.
The justification for the single source procurement is that Forever Family Inc. is the only vendor that can provide the specialized television airtime, production capabilities, and integrated social media solutions required. DCF has determined that these services are not available from any other source. The contract will be funded through DCF's budget, and the intended decision to enter a single-source contract will be publicly noticed per Florida's procurement regulations.
