About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for a sports marketing sponsorship with The Orange Bowl Committee, Inc. The agency seeks promotional advertising for the "Fresh From Florida" brand through a sports marketing partnership that will provide brand exposure across Orange Bowl platforms and events, including on-site signage, digital displays, web advertisements, social media, and brand placements at the Orange Bowl Game and the Orange Bowl Food & Wine Celebration. The procurement process is open for prospective vendors to submit information regarding their ability to supply these services, with the deadline for receipt of information set for October 8, 2026. The contract is dated for execution through June 30, 2027, and the notice was posted on September 17, 2026, with a minimum 15-business-day advertisement period required by Florida Statutes.

The estimated contract amount ranges from approximately $200,000.00 to $250,000.00. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services justifies the single source acquisition based on The Orange Bowl Committee, Inc.'s exclusive ownership, licensing rights, naming rights, and trademark control, making it the only vendor capable of providing these specific services. The agency is authorized under Section 570, Florida Statutes, to promote agricultural products through advertising via promotions, print, television, and digital media, with all promotional use of the "Fresh From Florida" logo required to comply with department rules and be coordinated through authorized partners. The procurement has been approved by multiple departmental officials, including the Purchasing Director II, Division of Administration.
