About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) published by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the Florida Forest Service. The agency is seeking to purchase FT-96 Seedling Trays from Stuewe & Sons, Inc. as a single source acquisition. The FT-96 seedling tray is the only known tray that will function with the agency's current sowing line equipment and fit their T-Rail suspension tray holding system. The estimated dollar amount for this one-time purchase is up to $339,864.

The justification provided is that Stuewe & Sons, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the FT-96 seedling tray that meets the agency's specific requirements. The agency intends to award a single-source contract to Stuewe & Sons, Inc. for this purchase, and will provide public notice of their decision as required by Florida Statutes.
