About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, targeting a marketing services contract with SMRT Solutions, LLC for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program. The procurement focuses on promoting Florida agricultural products through Sedano's Supermarkets, with performance requirements including circular advertisements, in-store promotions, magazine placements, television and social media advertising featuring the "Fresh From Florida" logo. The contract period runs from execution date through June 30, 2026, with a posting date of 06/12/2025 and a last day for receipt of information on 07/07/2025.
The estimated contract amount is $60,000.00, with a maximum potential of up to $100,000.00. SMRT Solutions, LLC is positioned as the sole source vendor due to its exclusive role in managing receipts and payments for Sedano's Management Inc. The justification for single-source procurement highlights the company's unique capabilities, including planning weekly online sale flyers, creating in-store signage, coordinating promotions, developing vendor-specific publications, and managing social media content for Sedano's Supermarkets, which are identified as the leading Hispanic supermarkets in Florida. The procurement is authorized under Florida Statute 571.2 and is intended to serve as a marketing program to promote Florida agricultural commodities, value-added products, and agricultural-related businesses.
