About this file

This is a Notice of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) for marketing and promotional services. The agency seeks to procure "Fresh From Florida" sponsorship through promotional advertising and brand activation at the Triumph Racing Team's Daytona Supercross event. The sponsorship includes prominent logo placement on racing assets and rider gear, brand activation opportunities in the Triumph hospitality area, and exclusive marketing rights featuring Ricky Carmichael's name, image, and likeness for use throughout the year. The contract period extends from the date of execution through June 30, 2026. The deadline for prospective vendors to submit information regarding their ability to supply these services is February 13, 2026, with the notice having been posted on January 23, 2026, meeting the required 15-business-day advertisement period.

The estimated dollar amount for this single source acquisition is approximately $100,000, with an approximate contract amount of $50,000. RC4 Marketing, LLC has been identified as the sole authorized vendor for this procurement due to its exclusive ownership of licensing, naming rights, and trademarks representing Ricky Carmichael and the Triumph Racing Team, with no other vendor able to provide access to these assets or associated rights. The FDACS is authorized to conduct this promotional advertising under Florida Statutes sections 571.02 and 571.24, which permit the agency to promote Florida agricultural products through the "Fresh From Florida" campaign using various media channels. The purchase was approved by Susan McKinley (Director, Division of Marketing and Development), Yolanda Roundtree (Chief, Bureau of Seafood & Agriculture Marketing), Stephanie Bergozza (Purchasing Director), and Joey B. Hicks (Director, Division of Administration).
