About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities for a PracticePanther legal management software subscription. The agency is seeking a one-year term contract for PracticePanther, a legal operations platform that provides case and matter management, time and expense tracking, billing and invoicing, document storage, calendaring, and client communication features. The posting was made on May 20, 2026, with a deadline for receipt of vendor information on June 11, 2026. The contact for this opportunity is Alexis Capps, Procurement Officer at the Bureau of General Services and Procurement, located at 4030 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32399, and can be reached at (850) 666-2895 or Purchasing@apdcares.org. The internal tracking number is APD SS 2526-035.

The estimated dollar amount for this single source purchase is $19,200.00. The agency justifies the single source acquisition based on significant resources already invested in configuring PracticePanther during the past fiscal year. The agency evaluated multiple competing products but selected PracticePanther because it best suited operational needs, offered no additional fees for data migration and configuration, and demonstrated compatibility with the agency's information security specifications, whereas competing products imposed migration and configuration fees, lacked security compatibility, and carried higher ongoing service costs. The procurement was approved by the Office of the General Counsel, including Anne Bevis (Executive Office Manager), Brett Taylor (Senior Attorney), Carrie McNamara (Deputy General Counsel), and the Bureau of General Services and Procurement leadership.
