About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) form issued by the Florida Department of Military Affairs, Counterdrug Program, for the acquisition of training equipment. The Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training (MCTFT) program seeks to purchase rifle and pistol live fire training weapon kits from a sole source vendor. The purchase includes small arms weapons training equipment with laser sights and lights that align with equipment used by law enforcement agencies receiving training. The requestor is CMSgt. Jennifer Harris, Operational Superintendent, located at 5629 State Road 16 West, Building 3872, Starke, Florida 32091, and can be contacted at (904) 682-3163 or jennifer.harris9@us.af.mil. The posting date was April 22, 2026, with the last day for receipt of information scheduled for May 13, 2026, representing a 15 business day posting period as required by Florida Statutes.

The estimated dollar amount for this single source acquisition is $59,780.97. The intended sole source vendor is M.G. Suber, LLC (MGS LLC), identified as the sole distributor with all required products currently in stock for immediate delivery. The justification for single source procurement is based on the vendor's exclusive availability of the complete training weapon kit systems and their ability to supply all necessary equipment without delay. The purchase was approved by John Connor, Purchasing Director of the Department of Military Services. Protests may be filed within the prescribed timeframe with the agency at 82 Marine Street, Saint Augustine, Florida 32084, or via email at neal.newton@dma.fl.gov.
