About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for K10 Vision Audit and Risk Management Software. The DEP's Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking internal audit management and investigative case management software licenses, user training, maintenance support, and hosting services from K10 Vision Inc. The software will support the internal audit function and help the agency track engagement elements throughout its operations. The procurement was posted on May 13, 2026, with a deadline for receipt of information on June 4, 2026, allowing for the statutorily mandated fifteen business day advertisement period. The contract term is five years, and the primary contact for this procurement is Kimberly Bowling, Purchasing Specialist Supervisor, at the Florida DEP office in Tallahassee.

The total estimated dollar amount for the five-year contract is $177,998, with Year 1 costs of $88,165 (including implementation), and subsequent years ranging from $20,779 to $24,055 for maintenance, support fees, and hosting services. The DEP justifies this single source procurement based on K10 Vision Software's unique integrated functionality, which combines risk assessment, audit planning, scheduling, timekeeping, audit program development, workpapers, findings, recommendations, reporting, and configurable reporting in one system. The Department determined that no competing products accommodate all required case management sections and records retention requirements in an integrated manner. K10 Vision Inc., located at 707 Skokie Boulevard, Suite 600, Northbrook, Illinois, is the sole authorized provider of this software with no authorized resellers available. The procurement was approved by Candie Fuller, Inspector General, and Kimberly Bowling, Purchasing Specialist Supervisor.
