About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, targeting a procurement with Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC for sporting event promotion and sponsorship. The contract is for marketing and advertising services to promote Florida agricultural products using the "Fresh From Florida" logo, with a contract term from execution date through June 30, 2026. The solicitation was posted on 05/30/2025 with a last day for receipt of information on 06/20/2025, covering multi-media advertising opportunities including radio, billboards, game programs, live game mentions, and internet banner advertising on the team's official sports website.
The estimated contract value ranges from approximately $350,000 to $400,000, with Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC identified as the sole licensing provider for marketing rights for the team. The justification for single-source procurement emphasizes that no other source is available to facilitate athletic-related advertising purchases with the team. The purpose aligns with Florida Statute 571.24, which authorizes the department to establish a marketing program promoting Florida agricultural commodities, value-added products, and agricultural-related businesses. The procurement follows specific state regulations under Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3) of Florida Statutes, with approval from multiple state officials including the Director of Marketing and Development and the Director of Administration.
