About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), involving IGA USA, Inc. for the "Fresh from Florida" Grocery Retailer Marketing Program. The contract is for sales and business promotion activities focused on marketing Florida agricultural products through in-store promotions, magazines, television, and social media advertising. The contract term runs from execution date through June 30, 2026, with an estimated total amount up to $150,000 and a targeted contract amount of $100,000.
The justification for single-source procurement is based on IGA's unique structure as a nationally known brand representing family-owned, local retail grocery stores. IGA USA, Inc. is positioned as the only vendor capable of promoting "Fresh From Florida" commodities across multiple family-owned, local retail grocery stores for national or regional marketing promotions. The vendor will provide participating stores with in-store signage, peel-and-stick labels, and execute targeted media buys across mobile, desktop, and connected TV platforms. The program is authorized under Florida Statute 571.2 (Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign Act) and requires the vendor to be a non-paid member of the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Membership program.
