About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). The FDACS seeks to enter into a 3-year enterprise agreement with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) to provide application server software, which includes maintenance, support, software upgrades, and training for ESRI's GIS technology. The agreement will grant the department uncapped access to a variety of ESRI products and services, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS GIS Server, and various extensions and add-ons. The initial term of the agreement is from September 15, 2023, through June 30, 2026, with an estimated total value of up to $1,500,000.
The justification for this single-source acquisition is that ESRI is the exclusive manufacturer and provider of the required software and services, which are critical to various FDACS divisions and applications. ESRI's technical support and expertise are also a key factor in the department's decision. The estimated annual costs for the agreement are $458,500 for Year 1, $483,500 for Year 2, and $508,500 for Year 3.
