About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), seeking a three-year Common Aerial Law Enforcement Service Plan (CASP) for Wescam MX-Series imaging systems mounted on the agency's aircraft. The solicitation was posted on 04/08/2025 with a response deadline of 04/29/2025, covering maintenance services for aerial cameras and imaging systems used in maritime safety, marine resource protection, game and fish protection, domestic security, law enforcement response, aerial surveillance, and search and rescue operations.

The estimated contract value is $500,000, with Wescam USA Inc. (a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies) identified as the sole source provider. The service plan will cover normal wear and tear parts, labor, and return freight for the imaging systems. The justification for single-source procurement stems from the specialized nature of the equipment and the critical requirement that these systems be maintained according to manufacturer specifications to ensure reliability and operational readiness for the FWC's Law Enforcement Division's mission-critical activities.
