About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWRI). The agency intends to purchase oceanographic CTD instrumentation and associated maintenance and satellite telemetry services from a single source vendor, RBR Global. The required equipment includes the RBR Maestro, Concerto, Fermenta, and associated sensors, as well as related laboratory equipment maintenance, test calibration or repair, and instrument parts and accessories. The estimated dollar amount for this contract is up to $200,000 for a term of up to 3 years.
The justification for the single source acquisition is that the existing DMO WireWalker (WW) platform used by FWRI-HAB is manufactured with integrated RBR instrumentation, and RBR is the sole vendor that can provide the telemetry services required for these instruments. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services by May 3, 2024. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that can demonstrate the capability and reliability to fully perform the contract requirements.
