About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Training and Duty Ammunition. The document seeks to procure CCI-Speer and Federal Cartridge Products brand ammunition for law enforcement duty weapons, firearms training, and recertifications across the state. The intended contract will be with Florida Bullet, Inc. for a three-year term from the date of award, with a posting date of 8/18/2025 and a last day for receipt of information on 9/9/2025.
The estimated contract value is $530,000.00. The single source justification is based on Florida Bullet, Inc. being the only factory-authorized Law Enforcement Distributor in Florida for CCI-Speer and Federal Cartridge Products, which are owned by The Kinetic Group. Florida Bullet is specifically noted as the only Law Enforcement Distributor authorized for direct drop shipments from the factory within Florida. The procurement is specifically for the duty ammunition of the FWC's Division of Law Enforcement, and the document includes approvals from multiple levels of management, including the Purchasing Director and various law enforcement leadership positions.
