About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Risk Management, for the continuation of a Risk Management Information System (RMIS) software license and support services. The Department seeks to maintain its current cloud-based RMIS claims management software configured by Origami Risk LLC to process and manage claims for the State Property and Casualty Self-Insured Claims Adjustment Program. The procurement covers software licenses, hosting services, data processing services, and support and maintenance for a 36-month term from February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030. Prospective vendors interested in providing these services were required to submit relevant information no later than September 18, 2026, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time. The Division uses the proprietary Origami RMIS system for claim processing, claim management, property values collection, premium calculations, and benefit payments, with user access allowing state agencies and universities to input claims data remotely.
The estimated total contract value is $2,541,921.00, with an annual license fee of $847,307.00 for each of the three contract years. Origami Risk LLC is identified as the sole intended source, as the Origami RMIS is proprietary software-as-a-service owned exclusively by Origami Risk, which has provided implementation, support, and hosting services to the Division since 2014. The system cannot be hosted by any other vendor and is accessed solely through Origami Risk's servers over the internet. The procurement is authorized under Section 284.33, Florida Statutes, and the posting remained available for a minimum of 15 business days from August 27, 2026. Multiple departmental stakeholders, including representatives from purchasing, database administration, finance, legal counsel, and senior management, approved this single-source procurement justification.
