About this file
This document contains Public Contract Code Disclosures for a government contract bidding process involving the State of California. The document requires bidders to complete three mandatory statements under penalty of perjury: a Section 10285.1 Statement declaring any prior convictions related to public works contract violations, a Section 10162 Questionnaire about potential disqualifications from previous government projects, and a Section 10232 Statement addressing findings of contempt by federal courts regarding compliance with National Labor Relations Board orders.
The disclosures are designed to ensure contractor integrity by requiring bidders to self-report any legal infractions or disciplinary actions within specific timeframes (three years for convictions and two years for federal court contempt findings). Bidders must carefully complete these forms, as making false certifications may result in criminal prosecution. The documents provide spaces for bidders to explain any affirmative responses and require signatures and dates to validate the statements. These forms are considered part of the bid submission and serve as a screening mechanism to identify potentially problematic contractors before contract awards.
