About this file

The Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) details the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering's (D/GENE) need to replace a non-functioning PerkinElmer (PE) S23 three-rack dual rinse Autosampler for their Avio220 Max Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrophotometer (ICP). The document specifies equipment requirements for a new S23 Autosampler (Item # 2886-N0830015) with installation (Item # 2886-INSTALL).

Vendor-required services include a PE service engineer installation that ensures the autosampler communicates with the Avio220 Max ICP Syngistix software, properly aligns the sampling probe in all 150 sampling positions, and provides technical support during the warranty period. The new autosampler is critical for the department to resume auto analysis of digested samples, with the quotation for the replacement coming from Franklin Young International Inc.
