About this file
This document presents minimum technical specifications for an End-User Device (EUD) protective case and body-worn mounting system procurement.
The requirement calls for 30 tactical phone cases and 4 tablet cases, each featuring top-load design with secure locking latches, integrated raised screen protectors, and engineered impact protection meeting MIL-STD-810H durability standards. The cases must provide full access to buttons with tactical covering, ports with AUX cover/access capability, and rubberized grips for improved handling. Each case requires an integrated mounting point for plate carrier attachment. Additionally, the procurement specifies 30 phone mount plate carriers and 4 tablet mount plate carriers designed for center-chest, hands-free mounting on tactical gear. These mounts must be PALS/MOLLE compatible to ensure secure attachment to standard tactical equipment. The mount plate carriers require variable hinge friction with adjustment knobs and tension thumb screws, integrated elastic shock cord for device retention, and the ability to fold flush or rotate open to a maximum of 135-degree angle. Cable management capabilities are specified through integrated cable routing channels at the back of the mount base to support field operations requiring hands-free navigation and data viewing during field exercises.
