About this file
The document is a detailed Profilometer Checklist Form that outlines comprehensive technical requirements for a mobile terrain measurement system for the Aberdeen Test Center. The checklist is divided into three main sections: Prime Mover Requirements, Sensor Requirements, and Data Requirements, with each section specifying both threshold (mandatory) and objective (preferred) capabilities.
Key requirements include a robust off-road vehicle with advanced mobility features like 4WD, locking differentials, and 35" off-road tires, capable of traversing diverse terrain at varying speeds. The sensor system must provide highly precise terrain scanning with capabilities such as detecting small features (ruts, rocks) with 1 mm precision, generating 3D renderings, and capturing extensive geospatial data including GPS time, latitude, longitude, angles, and displacement coordinates. The system must also include advanced data processing software that is Army Golden Master compliant, can integrate Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) data, and provide visualization/reporting within 10-24 hours of data collection.
