About this file
This is a Product Description document for a federal contract opportunity with the 149th Fighter Wing Det-1 Yankee Range. The Contractor shall deliver an Envirosafe FG Cube "or equal" 1000-gallon fuel station to the facility located at 2200 FM624 Tilden, TX 78072. The acquisition purpose is to replace an existing vehicle-mounted fuel dispensing system that requires extensive maintenance and inspections.
The fuel station must meet specific minimum physical, functional, and performance requirements. The system must have a 1000-gallon capacity for diesel fuel with metered dispensing capability at a minimum flow rate of 10 gallons per minute and a 25-foot retractable hose. The tank must include secondary containment with emergency and standard vents. For outdoor continuous operation, all exterior surfaces and non-metallic components (seals, hoses, coatings) must retain at least 90% tensile strength and resist cracking/chalking after a minimum of 1,000 hours of UV exposure per ASTM G154 or ASTM D432 standards. The system must operate fully without degradation throughout an ambient temperature range of -20°F to 120°F. All electrical control boxes, valves, and auxiliary electronic components must be rated NEMA 4X (watertight, dust-tight, and corrosion-resistant) to prevent water ingress from windblown rain or hose-directed water. Delivery will be to 149th FW Det 1 Yankee Range with specific building and point of contact details to be provided upon contract award.
