About this file
The document is a PDF Printing Instructions file, which provides technical guidance for accurately printing PDF plans, specifically for use with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader software. The instructions are designed to ensure that when plotting PDF plans for the South Central Viera / I-95 Extended Reuse Transmission project, users maintain the correct scale and size when printing sheets in 24" x 36" or 11" x 17" formats.
The printing instructions detail specific steps for different versions of Adobe software, emphasizing the importance of selecting "Actual Size" in the print menu and avoiding "Fit" or "Shrink Oversized Page" options. This is particularly critical when printing half-size sheets to ensure accurate scaling. While the document itself does not contain project-specific pricing or contract details, it is a technical support document related to the bid materials for the reclaimed water main extension project in Florida.

NOTE: To ensure that accurate scale is maintained when plotting the PDF plans, please follow the below instructions as applicable for ADOBE Acrobat or ADOBE Reader:
For Acrobat or Reader, open the desired sheet size file (24” x 36” or 11” x 17”), as provided, then:
For Acrobat, select the “Actual Size” option from the Adobe Acrobat print menu. Do not use the “Fit” or “Shrink Oversized Page” options.
For Reader version XI, select the “Actual Size” option from the Adobe Reader print menu. Do not use the “Fit” or “Shrink Oversized Page” options. For previous versions of Reader, select “None” from the page scaling menu.
