About this file
This document is a Pricing Proposal Form for a Pinellas County School Board (PCSB) contract opportunity for resurfacing, resealing, and restriping services. The bid seeks a qualified paving or general contractor to provide comprehensive asphalt and striping services county-wide, including resurfacing existing asphalt, sealing or resealing areas, striping or restriping existing areas, and demolition and repair of existing surfaces. The contractor is prohibited from subcontracting without prior written authorization from the Maintenance Department, and all work must be performed directly by the bidding entity.
The pricing proposal includes detailed unit pricing for various services such as sealing (power brooming, seal coating), asphalt work (leveling, overlay, milling), striping (layout, stall marking, line striping), and miscellaneous services like demolition, base material, and speed bump installation. The bid evaluation includes points for previous PCSB work experience, customer references, local location, unit fee schedules across different service categories, a work scenario calculation, and hourly rates. The proposal allows for a one-time 2% remobilization fee on phased projects, and requires bidders to list and own all equipment used in the project, with equipment subject to inspection by PCSB representatives.
