About this file
This document is a prevailing wage rate schedule issued by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety under the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. It covers the contract for the Nut Island Headworks Fire Suppression Tank Repair Works project located in Quincy, Massachusetts, which is being awarded by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority. The project involves concrete repairs to an existing fire suppression tank. The document provides the minimum prevailing wage rates for various labor classifications required for the construction work, with effective dates from June 2010 through December 2012.
The wage rates cover a wide range of construction trades and job classifications, including equipment operators, laborers, masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and more. Apprentice wage rates are also included based on the percentage of the full journeyman rate. The document specifies that employers must pay these prevailing wage rates on public works projects, and employees can report any violations to the state's Fair Labor Division.
