About this file
This document is a pre-proposal meeting agenda for a state contract opportunity from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for professional services related to improvements at the Rifle River Recreation Area. The project includes assessments and design services for a new sanitary sewer, upgraded electrical system, new water service, and pavement rehabilitation at the campground and day-use areas. Additionally, a structural assessment and potential repairs or replacement of an existing cable strand bridge are required. The PSC (professional services consultant) will be responsible for all necessary construction documents, agency approvals, and as-built record drawings, with 50% and 90% reviews. Proposals will be evaluated based on 80% technical and 20% cost, with the successful firm expected to attend a contract/kickoff meeting on September 8, 2022. The construction budget should be provided in the proposal, and reimbursable expenses are project-specific. The contract opportunity covers Ogemaw County in the state of Michigan.
