NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
RE: Project Number: AK PRA DENA 10(36)
Project Name: Replace Ghiglione Bridge
Solicitation No. 69056725B000009
The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during summer/fall as conditions permit. After October, access will be weather dependent; contact Denali National Park for current road conditions at NPS
Denali Road Conditions or 907-683-6407. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for show-me tours.
The work will be solicited under one base schedule and one option. See the Description of Work document for additional details.
• Schedule A consists of all work to replace Ghiglione Bridge.
• Option X consists of aggregate scrape from the Toklat River bed and aggregate processing.
Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located in Denali National park, Denali Borough, Alaska.
• Denali Park Road o Bridge Location (Milepost 41.9) - Work on the replacement of the bridge consists of roadway excavation, grading, bridge construction, removal of the existing bridge,
• Toklat River Scrape – The Toklat River Scrape, located at approximate MP 53.88, work includes scraping material from the river bed, processing the material into aggregate surface course with Bentonite and Select Borrow and stockpiling the aggregate at the
Toklat Road camp.
