About this file

This is a Pre-Bid Conference Agenda for the Las Animas Fish Hatchery Electrical Upgrades project issued by Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) Southeast Regional Office. The project involves installation of eight new switched 20-amp outlets with all required wiring and breakers at the Las Animas Fish Hatchery. The pre-bid meeting was scheduled for October 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the CPW Southeast Regional Office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. All questions must be submitted in writing to Project Manager Eric Stahnke by 10:00 AM on October 19, 2016, with responses provided in a Final Addendum posted to the State Vendor Self Serve website. Bids are due October 21, 2016 by 1:00 PM, submitted to the Regional Office via fax or email. A Notice of Award is intended to be issued the same day bids are due to the lowest responsible bidder, contingent upon the bid falling within the project budget. The contractor will have 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed to complete the project, with issuance expected in mid to late November 2016.

Bonding is not required for this Documented Quote. The contractor is responsible for sizing all conductors, obtaining permits, passing inspections from the State of Colorado Electrical Board, and ensuring all materials and construction meet State of Colorado Electrical Board and NEC requirements. The contractor must also locate and avoid existing utilities and repair any damage caused during construction at no cost to CPW. Temporary electric, water, and sanitary facilities are the contractor's responsibility; water is available only from a hose bib at the hatchery, and contractor restroom use is permitted. All bids must include the completed bid schedule and W-9 form, with acknowledgment of any addendums required. The Attendance List will be posted on the State VSS website and emailed or faxed to registered attendees.
