1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron
350 Tully Street, Hurlburt Field FL, 32544
SYNOPSIS
This is a presolicitation notice synopsis. The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at
Hurlburt Field, FL, intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order, sole source award.
This notice is not a formal Request for Quotes (RFQ), and no contract will result from this notice, nor does it commit the Government to any acquisition for these services.
AFSOC requires contracted support to provide an exercise facility with the following requirements:
Capable of supporting realistic scenarios involving collapsed urban environments to enhance training realism and to meet required training objectives.
Access to landing zones capable of handling rotary-wing infiltration operations
Cityscape, vehicles for extrication work, pyrotechnics, smoke, ambient sound, firearm/KD ranges, collapsed structure rescue training, subterranean tunnel networks, advanced medical training, drop zone, helo, and tilt-rotor capable HLZ.
Located near limit of helo assets range originating from Hurlburt Field, FL.
Availability of fuel afterhours.
Located within 20 miles of a suitable alternate location in the event crews are unable to land.
The contractor will also be required to provide logistics for training scenarios to simulate battlefield care involving animal handling. Only those businesses on the USSOCOM approved vendor list are authorized to perform animal handling.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 531120 and
PSC of X1CZ with a size standard of $30M.
The Government intends to issue a sole source to The Guardian Centers of Georgia, LLC. The
Single Source Justification is included in this System for Award Management publication.
