Good morning, everyone.
We will get started in a few minutes.
We'll give it another minute or two to allow individuals to log on.
Good morning, everyone.
Want to thank everyone for your interest in doing business with the city of Sandy
Springs.
My name is Reginald Sterling.
I will be procurement agent of record for this particular project which is project
26001 for PATH 400 trail extension phase 2π number 0021223.
Today's session, we will provide an overview of the project submission requirements and general questions.
And Asher period for you guys to provide your your questions.
Just remember that all verbal responses today are non authoritative.
You should submit your questions in writing through the bonfire application question and Answer Portal official responses and any addendum will be issued there as, as as all registered vendors.
Now I would hand it over to.
Our project team.
For introductions and a brief overview of the project.
Grant, Maggie 4:13
Hi, this is Maggie Grant.
I'm the city's project manager for this project and I can give a brief description this project.
Will it's the path for 100 trail extension from Windsor Parkway to north of Baroque
Circle.
It will tie into segment 1.
Up path 400 that's currently under construction and it ends at Windsor Parkway.
It'll tie into that at the South and to the north. It will tie into segment 3.
Of the path for 100 that is also currently in construction. It includes a 12 foot wide concrete shared use path.
Parallels within the right of way of State Route 400 crosses under Northland Drive at grade and continues adjacent to Morgan Oak Circle near Ridge View Charter Middle
School. And then, as I said, it ties into the path for 100 trail extension to the north.
The total length of this project is just under one mile. I don't.
There are no bridges in this portion of the project, but there are several walls.
And it is G dot federally funded project.
So all the federal funding rules will apply.
I don't have anything else to add, Allen.
Do you have anything to add?
Johnson, Allen 5:30
No, that's I think the key.
This is G dot project will have you know that means you know.
Check your special provisions and and everything, especially from an environmental standpoint.
But.
And all the approvals and everything have to meet with G dot requirements.
Starling, Reginald 5:54
Awesome. Any other questions for?
Our our team.
Any project related questions.
For the technical team.
Jonathan Zambrano 6:18
I.
I.
I guess I didn't have one question.
Just wanna confirm that this is 10% DBE requirements.
It's Davis bacon and we have, I think it was 37 months to complete this project, correct?
Grant, Maggie 6:33
That all sounds correct, yes.
Starling, Reginald 6:35
Yes.
Jonathan Zambrano 6:36
And then the 29th for last questions.
For traffic control, are there any special?
Provisions or instructions for that or just follow G dot standards and 'cause. I know there's a pretty busy streets every now and then.
I don't know if we can.
We're allowed to close off a road and then, you know, divert traffic into a different direction or how how would that be able to work? I haven't gotten into the project details yet, so I have not read.
I've just just throwing that out there.
I don't know if it's on the project specs or something.
Grant, Maggie 7:17
Well, it would be in accordance with G dot standards as well as city standards for the city streets. Any traffic control plan would have to be submitted and approved prior to.
So we could just take those as take those questions as they come.
Starling, Reginald 7:42
Awesome. Do you have any additional questions for the team?
Neil Blasingame 7:50
Is there a budget number available or an engineer's estimate for this project?
Starling, Reginald 7:56
Unfortunately, we aren't able to to release that information for the for this project.
Yes, I do apologize.
We just aren't aren't able to release that information.
Neil Blasingame 8:09
No worries.
Starling, Reginald 8:14
All right.
Do you have any additional questions?
Neil Blasingame 8:18
Is it possible to get the CAD file for geolocation and modeling for earthwork?
Pre bid.
Grant, Maggie 8:34
I'm not sure I can.
Johnson, Allen 8:34
Grant, Maggie 8:37
I can get you an answer.
I'm not sure right now.
Johnson, Allen 8:40
I would put that in your question your written question.
Starling, Reginald 8:42
Yeah, put the.
Grant, Maggie 8:42
Yeah.
Starling, Reginald 8:46
If you can submit that, either through, you can send that directly to me via e-mail to my my e-mail, which is on the the solicitation document, or you can submit it through bonfire perfectly through the bonfire application.
So we can keep a a tab of them, but I would submit that question.
Neil Blasingame 9:03
Understood. Thank you.
Starling, Reginald 9:08
Any additional questions for the technical team?
Jonathan Zambrano 9:11
I noticed there's a a pretty good amount of landscaping or but I and this bid schedule the line items is. Is there any irrigation requirements for this or?
Is it temp watering or do we know is it?
Is it on the plans?
Grant, Maggie 9:31
I don't know the specifics of that right.
The top of my head just submitted as a questions question and we'll provide an answer.
Jonathan Zambrano 9:39
OK.
Starling, Reginald 9:47
OK. Any additional questions?
Jonathan Zambrano 9:51
Sorry for all the questions, but will we will we be able to get a copy of this presentation here?
Starling, Reginald 9:57
Jonathan Zambrano 9:58
OK.
Starling, Reginald 9:59
This will be uploaded along with the transcript of of this meeting.
Jonathan Zambrano 10:05
Thank you.
Starling, Reginald 10:06
Mm-hmm.
Neil Blasingame 10:10
Are we able to walk the site as needed or are there any access issues?
Johnson, Allen 10:28
I don't know that there are access issues.
Let us check.
I mean, it's a little.
Rough, you know, and you'll be on G right of way for the most part.
But we can confirm if that's if you can do that.
Starling, Reginald 10:46
Yeah, if you can submit that question as well.
I'm through the portal.
Shawn Springston 10:56
Right away.
So there any constraints or permits that haven't been squared away for this?
Grant, Maggie 11:05
No, everything's been permitted.
Starling, Reginald 11:15
Yeah.
If we do not have any more questions, we can go on to submission deadlines. Any remain of the events for this project.
So here is submission requirements.
All bids must be submitted via the Bonfire app, and there's the link there for the project. Submission Deadline is September 22nd at 1:00 PM.
No e-mail or fax or paper biz will be accepted for this project.
Here are a list of the requirements for that for the project.
There will be also, I think one of the additional item added in addition to the items presented here.
You must be G dot qualified.
That's gonna be an obvious item.
I think that wasn't a scope of work, but we'll just add it and the addendum as well as being G prequalified, that we also will require the DBE gold form and the federal aid certification.
And there is a new form, this last item, the Ventil Responsibility Questionnaire.
That form must be completed as well.
Any questions concerning forms or certifications?
